| Qualification | Research Assistant Candidates having Ph.D/M.Phil in Social Science discipline in Women/Gender Studies, Public Administration with research experience on topics related to violence, role of Police and having studied research methodology at the Post Graduate level would be preferred. Proficiency for handling computers, working with MS-Office and Internet is mandatory skill requirements. |
| Pay Scale | RA Initial appointment will be for three months which will further be renewed/extended after 3 months subject to satisfactory performance of the RA. The RA will receive a consolidated remuneration of Rs. 20,000/-per month (fixed), Field Investigator will receive Rs. 15,000/-per month (fixed) and she/he will be required to work full time under Dr. Suraiya Tabassum, the Project Director, at the Sarojini Naidu Centre for Women’s Studies, Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi, as per JMI rules. |
| Desirable Qualifications | For Field Investigator Candidates having Post Graduation in Social Science discipline with minimum 55% marks and prior experience of data collection would be preferred. |
