Qualification
- Additional City Engineer: Graduate with 60% or more marks in Civil Engineering or its equivalent degree from a recognized University or Post Graduate in Civil Engineering or its equivalent degree.
- Additional City Engineer (Electrical/ Mechanical): Graduate or Post Graduate in Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering degree with 60% or more marks in Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering or its equivalent degree from a recognized University.
- Town Development Officer: Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) or B.E. (Civil) from a recognized University and Post Graduate Degree or Diploma in City Planning Regional or Urban Design from a recognized University or Institute or having passed the examination and membership of the Institute of Town Planners and having passed Post Graduate qualification Must have at least 10 years of job / work experience.
- Executive Engineer (Civil): Subjects useful to Municipalities like Structural Transportation, ME with Bridges. T (Civil) and minimum 7(seven) years job/ working experience after passing it. Among them, 2 (two) years of experience in equivalent post in any Municipal Corporation or Deputy Engineer in any of the 5.V. accounts of Sarkarshree. Whereas for the employees working in Surat Municipal Corporation, if a Junior Engineer, it is necessary to have 5 (five) years of experience in its equivalent position. BE (Civil) and after passing it should have at least 10 (ten) years of work / work experience, out of which 4 (four) years of experience in 5.V Account of Govt. or Deputy Engineer in any Municipal Corporation or equivalent post.
